After months of much thought, discussions with various individuals of different backgrounds and experiences, training sessions with many different organizations, and conversations with my husband, Mario, I am excited to announce that I will be running for the Deer Park School Board Trustee, Position 3, a non-partisan race, in the upcoming election on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
I hope you will join me in two weeks on Saturday, December 2nd from 3-5PM in Deer Park as I kick off my campaign launch and share my thoughts of why I am running, my vision and values that I hold dear to my heart, and how you can play a role, whether you live in or out of the district, in supporting me and the campaign. I will also be introducing the members on my campaign team that have been and will continue to play a vital role the campaign and election.
Thank you all for your continuous love, support, mentorship, and encouragement as a venture into yet another scary yet fun-filled endeavor.
